Enterprises, i.e - World Domination

A joint venture with partner Bobby Banks. Artists signed include STONER, a soulful, young English rock band. The lead singer/guitarist Des Lambert (look out Bono, Sting and George Michael) and his brother Gavin (who loves James Jamerson) on bass and Rob Flanagan (a font of musical knowledge) on drums. They are an extremely talented and exciting group with Des writing the songs. We expect a great future for them and not just the UK.

DAVID RYAN HARRIS - a singer/songwriter with an amazing voice that reminds you of many of the great soulful singer/songwriters like, Donny Hathaway and Al Green with musical flavors of Bill Withers. David sings with the ease of James Taylor and plays his guitar so it becomes a duet with his voice. He's worked with many talented artists, India A'rie, John Mayer and Maroon Five to name a few and is just completing his first commercial album for RBE.
JF Robitaille a young Canadian in the Leonard Cohen, Tom Waits tradition and today's Bright Eyes. JF is a singer-songwriter from Montreal, Quebec. He has just finished recording his debut solo album with Howard Bilerman (The Arcade Fire, The Dears, Godspeed) and Brian Paulson (Beck, Wilco, Superchunk) at the Hotel2Tango studios in Montreal, of the 18 tracks recorded, 6 will be released as an EP entitled “The Blood in My Body” on April llth.

RBE have just released their first Soundtrack from Showtime's Golden Globe nominated series "Sleeper Cell". Nona sings lead vocals on two tracks , "Higher Purpose" and "Beginning to End."
It's a really interesting compilation with tracks from Faithless (Mass Destruction), Tricky (Black Steel) and Citizen Cope (Bullet and Target). Don't be put off by the 'subject' which is terrorists in the US. It's a gripping and different approach to what is inevitably becoming part of our lives. It is also entertaining - very important!

Then there's twelve year old NAJIYAH who sings gospel/inspirational music with the knowledge and expertise of someone twice her age. ARETHA must have had this potential at Najiyah's age. Just extraordinary. Her cd 'It's Just Me' was released in October 2005 to great reviews. Check her music and videos out at www.najiyah.com or the Rhythm&Spirit web site.

And lots more to come! See: www.rhythmbank.com for more info.

Nona scores music for the film "Preaching to the Choir" (original titled 'On the One.')
Nona has scored and written original songs for - PREACHING TO THE CHOIR. The film is distributed by TV One/Code Black and begins its theatrical run in mid April.
PREACHING is the first motion picture directed by Charles Randolph-Wright, a frequent collaborator with Nona. It’s the story of two brothers in the music business. A hip hop/gospel story set in Harlem.
Nona co-wrote a dozen new songs including some collaborations with young writers/rappers - Rahzel, M1 (from Dead Prez) and Khaliyl (from Bush Babies). She also co-wrote the title track which features a Labelle reunion and a 'guest' appearance by Sony's young gospel artist Tye Tribbett. The range of songs and performers in the film is broad - Rahzel to Edwin Hawkins to Eartha Kitt and Patti Labelle!

Look out for Nona on an Episode (308) of 'The L Word" at the end of February 26th. Playing Pam Grier's friend and joining Pam and the group Betty on studio rendition of her own "Transformation."
