Blue Comes to New York City
It went BRILLIANTLY. Some technical touch-ups to do as that is what previews are for but all is well and the cast/crew etc.The crew have over three weeks to get ready for opening night. It's very exciting. Michael McElroy, who plays "Blue" is wonderful and Phylicia superb. In fact, there is not a weak member of the cast - all terrific. AND people were asking for 'the music' afterwards!!!! GO HERE! or visit The Roundabout Gramercy Theatre

Nona Hendryx Heading at the Sunset Junction Music Festival
After the huge reaction given her last performance at the Sunset Junction Music Festival in Los Angeles, Nona Hendryx and her stellar funk/rock band has been asked back this year to HEADLINE. Nona will close the festival on August 18th, 2001.

Vintage Talking Heads
A new book chronicalling the life and times of the Talking Heads has been released entitled "This Must be the Place" by David Bowman. Lots of interviews with Nona Hendryx are included--for those of you who are unaware, Nona sang on their classic album "Remain in Light" and toured with them off and on from 1980-81. Nona was also a featured vocalist on 1983's "Speaking in Tongues" and also Heads' keyboardist Jerry Harrison's 1981 killer release "the Red and the Black." And if you really want to hear the greatest version of Al Greene's "Take Me to the River" ever, check out CD "The Name of This Band is Talking Heads." Nona and Dolette MacDonald just dominate on that song!

Blast from the Past
New ambient CD from former Nona Hendryx and Zero Cool band-member Michael Allison aka Darshan. The music is very atmospheric and beautiful. For more information go here: ORDER HERE
